The SwanWoods collection consists of three series of award winning handcrafted wooden salad bowls. Each bowl is one of a kind: an artistic combination of domestic hardwoods such as walnut, cherry, ash, maple and exotic hardwoods.

We use no stains or dyes--all colors are naturally in the wood. The finish on each wood salad bowl is a food-safe blend of resins and oils designed for many years of trouble-free use. We include an attractive care card with each salad bowl.

It is a trademark of SwanWoods that we engrave each bowl with our signature and the names of the woods used to create its unique design. We are happy to add a personal inscription! Our customers find this a special touch for wedding gifts or anniversary gifts.

Merle Ann Loman As a naturalist photographer, Merle strives to create photographs that are sharply focused, detailed, simple in composition, and that instill a connection between humans and nature. Her creations record ordinary everyday subjects with a sense of artistry. Yet her most basic goal is to capture nature through photography without altering it, and to provide documentation that promotes the appreciation, study and understanding of natural history through all seasons and over longer / extended periods of time.”

She offers a variety of products including loose photos, framed, stretched canvas and more. Prices range from $4 greeting cards ($4 each or a box of 6 for $20), $15 for 8x10 photos unframed, $25 for 11x14, $35 for 12x18. Stretched Canvas starts at $30 and up for framed and larger products.

Raised in the badlands of North Dakota, I've always had passion for photography. Moving to Missoula in 1979 living and raising a family up the Blackfoot River, I was inspired by the beauty of my home to pursue my passion in a more serious vein. I enjoy dabbling in all forms of photography.
