Welcome to
Friends of 2 Rivers
A citizens' organization committed to promoting a safe, healthy and enriching environment for the communities at the confluence of the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers.
I will be returning to the Hooked on Art Market with hand-marbled scarves and paper, as well as imaginary faces and flowers, made by floating paint on liquid then laying paper or cloth on top for a one-of-a-kind print. With me again will be Susan Stubblefield, who assists in the studio and sometimes marbles. She has her own business, Senior to Senior, and is an oral historian. I moved to Missoula over twenty years ago, earned an MFA in creative writing, married Jim Crumley, and stayed, gradually realizing that all this artwork was not just research for writing. My poetry collection, The Return of Pleasure, won the final Montana Arts Council First Book Award, and two of my chapbooks have my artwork on the cover. In October I will have a second show of marbling and masks at Noteworthy Paper & Press in Missoula. |

My name is Emily Darling and I am a senior at U of M working on a Sociology/Criminology degree and an Art/Ceramics degree. I have been selling my hand made, one of a kind hair sticks, hair accessories & Celtic jewelry for 14 years at The Saturday Market and I love to travel to art shows near and far. I plan to donate a percentage of my sales from Hooked on Art to the Bonner school "Close Up " program fund to help the 8th graders travel to Washington D.C. Thank you in advance for your help in getting our Bonner youth to visit our Nation's Capital. |
