Special events add to the Superfun(d) Run on April 18

To end the festivities, a horse mounted color guard made up of members of the Missoula County Sheriff’s Posse and 4-H will close the 10K run on the Bonner/Turah Equestrian Trail with flags representing the United States of America, State of Montana, the Missoula County Sheriff's Posse, and 4-H.

Feeling hungry?

All of these activities are sure to work up an appetite so plan to cap off the morning with a breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, and fruit at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Breakfast starts at 10 and continues until all walkers have a chance to finish the race and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Part of the proceeds from the pancake breakfast will benefit the World Hunger Fund.

Ready, Set, Run – Tips for Running

A local source of information is the Runner’s Edge store, at 325 N Higgins in Missoula. Anders Brooker is the owner and also coaches the Hellgate HS Cross Country team, and is the distance track coach for Hellgate. The Runner’s Edge can help you with shoes and clothing and equipment. They take the time to find out your foot structure and gait and your goals. Runner’s Edge is a sponsor of Run Wild Missoula, the runner’s club who is sponsoring the Superfun(d) Run.  Make sure to mention you are training for the run.  See YOU on April 18th!
