Join the Missoula Native Plant Society for a weed pull at Milltown State Park. This is a great opportunity to see the new trails being developed - before they are open to the public - and to help out the newest state park in Montana!

NATIVE PLANT SEEDS AND PLANTS WILL BE GIVEN TO VOLUNTEERS! :-)
Meet at the Milltown State Park Overlook, just off Deer Creek Rd. (map) to learn about the park and the invasive weeds that we will be helping to control along the new trails that are being developed in the park.

Montana State Parks is seeking public comment on a draft Environmental Assessment for Milltown State Park Forest Health Improvement and Trail Development. Public comments will be accepted through Friday, November 28 at 5pm. The draft EA proposes a forest management project to improve forest health in the upland area surrounding the Milltown State Park Overlook. View the draft EA and submit comments online.

Bonner - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is seeking opinions, comments, and concerns about a potential future project to remove and replace the eastbound and westbound Interstate 90 bridges over the Blackfoot River near Bonner, MT., Missoula County at reference post 110.2.   Comments may be submitted by mail to Ed Toavs, Missoula District Administrator, at P.O.
